Jimbo began his investment industry career in 2001 and joined Stifel in 2015 upon its acquisition of Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. Before becoming a financial advisor, he was a third-generation farmer on his family’s farm in England, Arkansas. Working on his family’s farm taught him everything he knows about hard work, long-term goals, and adaptability to different situations.
Taking a long-term approach to investing, Jimbo’s mission is to provide a highly personalized level of service to his clients by helping them maintain discipline amid the ever-changing markets, while guiding them through complex financial changes in their lives. He has built his practice on realistic expectations, ongoing communications, long-lasting relationships, and by placing his clients’ and their families’ interests first. At Stifel, he has access to a broad spectrum of investment products and services that allow him to develop a strategy tailored to the client’s needs.
Jimbo attended the University of Central Arkansas. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).
Jimbo and his wife, Kim, have been married for more than 30 years and have two daughters. Their oldest daughter, Alex, is an attorney in Little Rock, while their younger daughter, Abigail, works with Jimbo.
After spending the summer of 2022 as an intern at Stifel’s St. Louis headquarters, Abigail made the decision to become a Financial Advisor and follow in the footsteps of her father, Jimbo, who has been in the financial services industry for over two decades. Jimbo and Abigail have formed Adams Wealth Advisory Group, and Abigail has drawn inspiration from her father’s journey from third-generation farmer to seasoned financial advisor. Abigail is proud to talk about the principles that Jimbo has instilled in her throughout her life, including the values of hard work, commitment, and appreciation for the ability to help families pursue their financial goals.
Abigail earned both a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She also holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). Abigail is excited to combine her father’s experience with her own fresh perspectives to provide individuals and families with personalized financial guidance.
Away from work, Abigail enjoys traveling, going to the lake, and spending time with family and friends.
